The added performances are a 2pm matinee on Tues., Jan. 29 and a 7pm evening performance on Thurs., Jan. 31.  Casting for these added performances will be announced at a later date.

Patrons who had previously purchased tickets to the performances that were cancelled are being given the opportunity this week to exchange into the added dates, as well as into other performances during the run.  Anyone with questions about their existing tickets or needing help to exchange into these performances can call Lyric’s Audience Services department directly at 312-827-5600.

All performances take place at the Lyric Opera House, 20 N. Wacker Drive, Chicago. Tickets start at $39 and are available at  lyricopera.org/Boheme or at 312-827-5600.

La bohème is the perennially popular opera about a charming group of young Bohemians who navigate the ups and downs of life and love while struggling to make ends meet in 19th-century Paris. Puccini’s sublimely melodic score is both heartwarming and heartbreaking.
